23-01-2012 SANYO acquisition doesn't effect Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG
I would like to inform you that in 2010, the Japanese company SANYO Electric was acquired by the Japanese company Panasonic which led to the fact that the video surveillance business will cease to exist under the name SANYO by 31 March 2012.
However, our company, SANYO VIDEO Vertrieb AG with its headquarters in Ahrensburg (Germany), is not effected by this acquisition. SANYO VIDEO Vertrieb AG is an independent German company which is privately owned. We neither belong to SANYO Electric nor to Panasonic and we will continue to be an active player in the video surveillance business.
Since 1974, we successfully distribute CCTV products of different brands throughout Germany and many other European countries. The first products we distributed at that time were SANYO products, hence the heritage of our company name.
Today, our own brand SANTEC is the major element of our product portfolio. In the future, we will continue to distribute not only SANTEC products but also partner products as well as service offerings. Hence looking ahead, you will more and more perceive us as SANTEC as a company.
For those SANYO IP cameras which will be discontinued as of February, we will be able to offer you new and innovative SANTEC IP cameras. I am convinced that our new IP cameras will excite you.
If you have any questions on the SANYO topic, please don't hesitate to contact our headquarters in Ahrensburg or your sales representative.
Our entire team looks forward to working with you in the future.
Kind regards,
Lars Diestel
CEO Sanyo Video Vertrieb AG
