Sanyo Video and Arecont Vision have agreed on a cooperation.
Arecont Vision is one of the industry leaders in IP-based mega pixel camera technology. Arecont Vision‘s main focus is on HD mega pixel image processing comprising a comprehensive range of dual-codec mega pixel IP cameras with H.264/MJPEG for professional security applications. As of now, this innovative technology is also available through Sanyo Video.
The product range includes day/night cameras of the MegaVideo Compact series with 1.3 - 10 mega pixel, privacy zones and motion detection. IP dome cameras of the MegaDome series are „all-in-one" cameras with 1.3, 2, 3 or 5 mega pixel, also suitable for day/night applications. The MegaView series cameras are optionally equipped with IR-LEDs and provide excellent precision of details, e.g. for licence plate recognition or face recognition. The product offering is completed by the SurroundVideo series which consists of 180° and 360° panorama cameras with up to 20 mega pixel providing a wide range and excellent levels of detail, even under poor light conditions.
Arecont Vision IP cameras are characterised by H.264 compression, reduced CPU load for servers and storage systems as well as reduced bandwidth, hence they work very effectively.
